Bootlegger x Earthtones Exhibition: Vernissage + Afterparty

ESC - 2023 Saint-Laurent
event
August 13, 2026
The exhibition takes place at ESC from August 10-13, and will be exploring the themes of technology, territory & nature, the aging and decay of analog technologies and or landscapes shaped by infrastructure and surveillance, stories of displacement, environmental change, repurposing of materials, memory and resilience. The event is inquiring about what is left behind (the traces/ruins) and how these remains can give rise to new meanings. It will also involve a multiplayer virtual museum with artist interviews and international artwork! The exhibition will also be a fundraiser in support of Palestine, while not all participting artists will address Palestine directly, the exhibition hopes to hold space for many conversations around technology, territory & nature and collect funds for mutual aid. We are also planning a closing after party Thursday 13th, from 9 p.m. - 4 a.m. where all profits will go towards the fundraiser. We will have live musical performances as well as DJ sets to close the night. :)
