A night of hypnotic techno co-presented by Humidex Records, bringing together the worlds of Japanese techno figure DJ Shufflemaster and Montreal-based DJ and producer Esse Ran. A pioneer of the Japanese and international techno scenes since the 1990s, DJ Shufflemaster lands at the SAT (and in Canada for the very first time!!). He delivers a raw, hard-hitting and resolutely underground approach, shaped by decades of work across both production and performance. Alongside him, Esse Ran explores a dark, industrial, experimental and groovy techno. He represents Humidex Records, a label he founded alongside other artists from Montreal’s underground scene, actively contributing to the city’s electronic music culture by building connections with international scenes. Two visions of techno brought together for a one-of-a-kind night.
